    Stuff

Update: I am planning to change a big idea of this site. I don’t skate as much anymore (I still do though) but I have played Tennis since I was 11 or 12 (One of the two) and I’m pretty good. So expect a new header soon.

Hey everyone! Sorry there hasn’t been a post in a few days, I’ve been pretty busy and stuff. So for now… I decided not to do the lottery because I want this blog to myself. No, that’s not being selfish because you can just go create one yourself for free.

Now, for something…. “unusual”? I’ve decided I don’t want this blog to be one of those blogs that have 25 pages. Even though I only have 4 (I count the main page as a page too because it is. So I’m going to have the rest of the skateboarding page in a post (This post actually) so its not completely gone from this site. So enjoy the page here.

Here is the awesome skateboard I have:

Here’s some skateboarding help, if you need it.
    How to Ollie: (Regular Footed)
    1. Put your right foot on the tail of the board
    2. Put your left foot in the middle of the board
    3. This is what I didn’t get at first- step down as hard as you possibly can with your left foot, sometimes it helps to crouch down so you can touch the cement you are on.
    4. Then, after you pop it, slide your left foot up the board with the left side of your left foot. Not the bottom of your left foot, the left side.
    5. Then, just come back down! Congratulations, you can ollie!
    What it will Look Like:

    How to Kickturn: (Regular Footed)
This is vital to skateboarding, and its pretty easy.
    1. Press down with your right foot, not as hard as an ollie, in fact, not very hard at all.
    2. Then, while the tail (The back) of the board is still in the air, swing with your left foot, but still on the board.
    3. Congratulations! You can kickturn!
    What it will look like:

    Kickflip: (Regular Footed)
This is a hard trick. You have to be able to ollie really high to do this, like 5-7″
    1. Start with an ollie
    2. But while you are in the air, flick the board with your left foot to make it spin underneath you in the air. Now you see why you have to ollie very high!
    What it will look like:

    Casper:(Regular Footed)
    1. Turn the board upside-down
    2. Put your right foot on top of the tail
    3. Put your left foot about 2 inches left from the bolts nearest to your right foot
    4. Swing around and stay in that position
    5. Flip the Board over and land on it
    What it will look like:

    Pogo: (Regular Footed)
    1. Stand the board straight-up on its tail (Or Nose)
    2. Put your right foot on the bottom trucks
    3. Put your left foot on the nose (Or Tail) on the other side of the board
    4. Balance, and start hopping! This takes a little practice to get your balance right though.
Unlike the picture, you can have your hands on the top trucks, that is someone who is very good at the Pogo.

Not a Rainy Night, But a Stormy One

Ok this post has to be really quick because I am on my Dad’s School Laptop (He’s a Teacher) and it has 9% power left. It’s storming and raining as I’m typing this so it can’t be on my desktop computer because if lightning/thunder hit the cords or whatever it would delete everything on the Hard Drive! And that would not be good!
Anyways, I might be going to my favorite Skatepark tomorrow. Hopefully I will. I really should get better at ramps, I need to work on putting more weight on my left foot when I drop in (That’s when you go down a ramp) and I really need to finish this post because I only have 8% power left now.
    So goodbye for now

    Just look at the image

I found it in school today but couldn’t post it because it would take so long and it took me a while to find it again.

    Cellphones!

No, sadly, I’m 13 and my idiot parents still won’t buy me one, even if I help pay for it. But if you are like me and need to convince your parents to buy you one, whether you help pay for it or not, here’s some “arguing tips”.

  • Accidents happen, and everyone knows it. You usually can’t predict it, that’s why its called an accident. So say “Would you really put me at risk of not being able to contact anyone when I really need to just to save a few bucks? Is money more important to you than I am?”
  • Sometimes it won’t happen, but sometimes it will. So if you school is going on a field trip, you could lie a little and say cellphones are recommended. But then lie more and also say that parents shouldn’t give their kid their cellphone, because they don’t know when they are coming back. But then, your parents might say “Well, I’ll be at home”. Then say, “You might not be at home. Remember, accidents can’t be predicted, maybe you won’t be at home!”
  • All of my friends have one (Whether they do or not…) and they are all really mad at me for not having one because we can’t stay in touch anywhere. Maybe you could say “It would improve my social life” But then again, that’s only if you get really good grades, me saying that would make my parents laugh.
  • Think about all the advantages. It avoids buying a game system like a Nintendo DS, because a cellphone will have games on it. And that will stop the “Are we there yet?” in the car. If you don’t do that, START, obviously, and then use that. Also all the silent texting to not disturb your parents’ music. Don’t forget your own with a set of headphones, to hook up to your cellphone! (That was fun to type)
  • One more thing you really shouldn’t mention is prank calls… Call Pizza Hut, give someone a nice pizza, or just call someone and tell them they have 88 minutes to live! Don’t mention that to your parents though…
  • Maybe you can make up your own, or just comment here and leave one!

I realize I haven’t updated the skateboarding page yet, I’m busy with TOO MUCH FREAKIN FRENCH HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, we get like 2 pages every night! Spanish would’ve been totally the better choice!!! But anyway, if you have a skateboarding video you’d like to be posted here, leave the link and I’ll post it! Really any video, but it has to be owned by you.

That’s the day Bush is out of office! Hopefully Obama of Hillary (Whoever wins) will be able to get us out of the Iraq War.
